One of the most important historical sites in the Caribbean is the Mikve Israel-Emanuel synagogue in Willemstad, Curacao. Passing through I couldnt miss a visit here, especially when I had to learn some historical facts related to this site and the town. This building dates since 1732, makeing it the oldest in continous use in the Western Hemisphere. Pay a visit at Hanchi Snoa, its open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to almost 12 am.
